One Economy, in partnership with EBALDC, implemented the Lion Creeks Digital Connectors, a two month internship program for high school students.
The program identifies talented high school students, immerses them in technology training, and helps them build their leadership and workplace skills to enter the 21
st century economy. Program participants all across the nation connect to each other through the Connectors Club Web site, a social networking

and information portal that shares scholarship, job and life skills content.
Digital Connectors also learn about career opportunities through site visits to technology companies, job shadowing, and campus tours. Participating youth receive stipends through grants, their City’s employment program or refurbished/new computers as compensation for their efforts.
